A great day out with the family. First Porfell Animal Sanctuary, grand kids loved it, followed by Polperro. Half an hour on the beach and then dinner in the Three Pilchards garden, and wall to wall sunshine. Roger and Cathy
Wall to Wall Sunshine
Just back from a mini Portugal break to find the Seaton weather as good as Vilamoura. Absolutely brilliant. Thought about going for a swim, but instead opted for a stroll through the woods, along side the river to The Copley pub at Hessenford. It’s good to be home! Roger and Cathy
Mamma Mia
Last weekend was city break time in the fair city of Plymouth – just down the road. Nice hotel, great meal all complementing a Saturday night at Mamma Mia. Great show, and an excellent way to spend a weekend. If you get a chance, go see Mamma Mia! Roger & Cathy
Christmas Sunshine
It feels like spring, weatherwise, with blue sky and sunshine, but the calender says Christmas. As does the the Snow White panto in Plymouth, and the many presents. A bit confusioning, but we are finalising our New Year bash. Best wishes to everyone for 2017. Roger & Cathy
Music All The Way
We saw Rod Stewart in Plymouth last week, fantastic, Tom Jones at Eden last Sunday, excellent, and now ready for Carole King and Don Henley in the Park this Sunday. Sometimes it is music all way. Roger & Cathy
Pat’s Birthday Bash
The big night in Portsmouth this weekend is Pat’s birthday party – a very special man. The band are playing following extensive rehearsal! and the curry is organised. Let the good times roll! And then, after a rest, it’s back to Cornwall, Roger & Cathy
A Rainy Saturday night in Looe
Meet up with some old friends in the Sal. Followed by a wonderful curry in the Moonlight. Then on to see Looe’s Celtic band The Shamrocks in the Harbour Moon. A great night out, what ever the weather!
Mount Edgecombe’s Camellias
Spent an afternoon walking through Mount Edgecombe’s woods, with spectacular displays of spring Camellias. Plenty of exercise and fresh air, finishing with a Guinness in the Cremyll Arms – another tough day, Roger & Cathy
Fish and Theatre
Just returned from two days in Brighton. The theatre was Dead Simple, opening night, and the fish came from two of the town’s fine restaurants. Home now in sunny Seaton, to find that the beach wall is being restored. A fine start to the year! Roger & Cathy
Looe Music Festival
We have just booked tickets for Squeeze in Looe on 20th September. Great band, great beach venue -should be agreat night! Roger & Cathy
